THE FOUNDER
Fire Strikers Soccer Academy (FSSA) was found in January 2020. Its Founder and Owner is Maciej Kekus. Coach Maciek’s (Matt) life passion is soccer. He is a former player and team’s captain of Orzeł Piaski Wielkie, S.C. Wisła Chicago, and FC Stare Byki. During his playing career Coach Maciej has played many positions including right/left defender, midfielder and striker. In 2009 he was awarded Golden Boot Trophy for best striker in the league. He started his coaching career in 2016. He is licensed by U.S. Soccer with Grassroot license, United States Soccer Federation with license D and Coerver license.
THE TEAM TODAY
Today, Fire Strikers Soccer Academy is home to over 90 players in various age groups between the ages of 6 and 13. It is located in Schaumburg and close vicinities. To ensure successful and safe practices, each division has two coaches. All coaches are licensed by U.S. Soccer or United States Soccer Federation. Coaches conduct background check before becoming a member of FSSA.
OUR MISSION AND GOAL
The mission of Fire Strikers Soccer Academy is to train and develop young individuals with critical life skills, such as teamwork, good sportsmanship, and healthy balanced competition. We do not focus solely on winning games. Our goal is to teach youth self-discipline and how to see challenges as opportunities while fostering a safe environment for players to reach their full potential through the sport of soccer. We hope that their passion for soccer will grow stronger and they will continue with sport through their teen years and into their adult life.
